Chef de Cuisine Extraordinaire recreates imaginary dishes!
Have you ever wished you could try the dishes that appear in popular manga and anime? The main character in this drama, Tabe, is an office worker who has been relegated to a quiet position at a prestigious trading company. He is not motivated for work, but his desire for “food” is extraordinary. Unsatisfied with just the gourmet food that exists in the world, he asks talented chefs to seriously recreate the “bizarre and impossible gourmet food” that appears in manga comics.
Tabe, of course, is a fictional character in the drama, but real chefs from existing restaurants recreate manga food. It is a new type of gourmet TV program that allows viewers to enjoy the storyline of “drama”, the realism of “documentary”, and the eccentricity of “manga” all at the same time.
