Team Hiiragi was set up as a special exception inside the First Investigation Division, and its idiosyncratic members all have their own personal secrets and traumas. This includes Hizuki, whose father murdered her mother. While questioning the reason for their existence, Hizuki and Team Hiiragi will face many people and incidents. Having lost faith in humanity because of her father’s betrayal, Hizuki faces forward despite the scars that she can never forget. As she pushes onward, not just with strength, but also feelings of weakness, indecision, and anger, she will be a sympathetic figure for many women and give them courage in this human drama.
