Problem Properties is a drama about solving various bizarre cases that come up in real estate. In her new job at Oshima Real Estate Sales, Emiko Wakamiya cares for the sickly Masahiro Oshima, son of the former company president. Masahiro’s uncle Takamaru took over the company after Masahiro’s father died in an accident and he views Masahiro as an obstacle. Takamaru establishes a Customer Complaints and Special Sales Office, assigning Masahiro as its chief, and plots to make him take on troublesome jobs that will end in failures he can use to force him out of the company. Caught up in this struggle when she is assigned to the Special Sales Office, Emiko is sympathetic to Masahiro and reluctantly works to make these jobs a success. But the complaints all involve things like deaths, disappearances, and poltergeists. As she is at a loss for what to do, Emiko meets the mysterious Kotaro Inugashi... Inugashira drags Emiko around with him, boldly solving the difficult jobs she’s been given with clever thinking and occasionally action!
