Japan’s first-ever TV drama to spotlight the Water Police!
Unlike on land, where widespread CCTV has made crime-solving more efficient, the waterways remain lightly patrolled. To tackle the rise in waterborne crime, the Metropolitan Police Department establishes the Tokyo Water Police Station, composed of officers from diverse backgrounds. Takuma Ikari, a veteran detective with over 20 years of experience; Shun Kusakabe, an ambitious officer recently transferred from headquarters; and Reiko Arima, a licensed mariner, along with other colorful personalities. Together, they take on crimes that occur on Tokyo Bay and its rivers, working to bring criminals to justice.

Hotaru Kusakari is a pharmacist who usually works at just an ordinary pharmacy. However contrary to her everyday appearance, she’s a descendant of the Koga Ninja clan, taking on the long tradition that has continued since the ancient times. She acts in a calm and reserved manner, but this is only her outward mannerisms of meekness and stealth to prevent her identity from being discovered. In fact, she is feistier than others, a perfectionist who hates failure and defeat, and sometimes her real intentions burst out in ways of a sharp tongue. She also trains her physical prowess through stoic jogging sessions and training every morning and spends her days behaving secretly in a ninja-like manner. At the age of 28, she married Goro Kusakari an ordinary guy (or so she thinks). She is proud to be a member of the ‘Koga clan’ but after she met him, her longing for a normal household begins to come out…

The story takes place in a certain high school. Masaki Nitta arrives as a new music teacher, but the school is greatly disturbed by the disappearance of the previous teacher.
While playing the piano in the music room the night before work, Masaki meets Sae Izumi, a student who is running away from one issue. Sae is a student in the class in which he is an assistant teacher. The two of them, gradually develop a bond through the disappearance.
Masaki one day begins to realize the special feelings he has for her.
He never wants to admit that it is love, but Sae on the other hand believes otherwise…
