Shiho is a housewife struggling to raise her two-year-old daughter and handle household chores a path she chose, even as stay-at-home-mothers are becoming increasingly rare. While wondering whether she made the right choice, she begins to meet neighbors with homemaking challenges of their own, including a working mother and an elite bureaucratic father on maternity leave. While they often clash over their different realities and values, they gradually come to connect with each other as they learn what it means to be a homemaker.
