Hassei Kobayashi is a narcissistic ballet dancer who belongs to the Komorikawa Ballet Company.
To make ballet more mainstream, and to improve his own popularity, he does livestreams and other
proactive endeavors.
Plus, despite being from different generations, he somehow gets to know Mashiro Sasaki and Masanobu
Mamoyama (Mamo-san), and they become a trio of friends.
The three spend their days at rehearsal for the ballet company, and their nights teaching at a ballet school,
day after day going through the same old ordinary days.
Then, one day on his way home, Hassei is dangerously close to getting arrested because of a
misunderstanding with a police officer.
His friends save Hassei by a thread, after which he makes a shocking announcement, “I’m going to quit at
the end of this year.”
Hassei loves ballet more than anyone. Why did he suddenly decide to quit?
The story depicts Hassei’s final year as he tackles ballet head-on.
