The story of a high school young caregiver who alone takes care of his mother with an incurable disease and housework.
An alarm sensor is used by the mother to notify “help” to her son in the next room.
The title “90 meters” expresses the distance at which the sensor can reach. The “90 meters” is a subtle, halfway distance that holds the mother and son together. For the mother, it is too far away, and for the son, it is too close.
When the son decides to leave, the “90-meter” distance, which the mother despises, changes into a loving and comfortable distance for both parent and child.
