The story is set in a used bookstore frequented by quirky regulars. The owner, Yamada Zenjido, enjoys his life in Fukuoka.
Secondhand books, goods, cassette tapes, houseplants, and a large bulldog statue out front—all these items cram the carefully curated shelves of "Furuhon Sumiyoshi" in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. This drama tells the story of the charmingly eccentric customers who gather at the used bookstore and its owner, Yamada Zenjido, as they navigate their mellow lives in Fukuoka.
