In Dawn of GAIA, the viewer is introduced to a range of themes, from global and national economic trends to consumer and financial markets, and little-known Japanese technologies. The idea is to present Japan from a different perspective and dramatically show how people at the forefront of various fields are making their way towards the Dawn of GAIA.

From the Story – Living Fukushima (9/16/2011)
The earthquake and tsunami of 2011 caused tremendous damage across a wide area of Eastern Japan. the nuclear power plant meltdown made the situation even worse. People around the world were horrified by the aftermath but also inspired by the survivors’ quiet courage.
Business-as-usual has been impossible for a family in Fukushima that makes traditional sweets. A small shopping center has also been struggling. Both are located in a town within the emergency zone. The program show how they turn their commitment to the rebirth of their community into action.
